Our hemp jewelry with alligator clip clasps are size adjustable. You can either use the clip itself as a clasp (see photo, upper left), or pull the clip and bead through the loop (see photo, upper right, you can also pull it through and clip it to the piece of jewelry if you don't want to leave in dangling) to adjust to a smaller size. For this reason, length measurements for macrame jewelry with alligator clip clasps are given in a range.
Tawny mostly uses alligator clips or buttons for jewelry clasps, as she feels they make more secure clasps than the traditional knot throught the loop type of closure. And, since the buttons are often decorative in and of themselves, they actually become a part of the jewelry decoration along with the beads, especially in the case of her anklets and bracelets.
Please note that width measurements are the measurements of the width of the hemp portion of the jewelry only, not including the beads, which often make the piece wider.
And remember, hemp jewelry may feel itchy or scratchy at first, but after you wear it a few times it will soften up.
Please measure your neck before purchasing to make sure the item you are interested in will fit. Your neck should measure at least 1/2 to 1 inch smaller than the measurement given so that the choker/necklace is not too tight (in the case of adjustable hemp jewelry, your measurement should be 1/2 to 1 inch smaller than the largest measurement given for the item). This will prevent both you and us from dealing with the frustration of having to return an item. Thank You!
Also, please keep in mind these are not toys. They contain small items that may be choking hazards for young children. Therefore, please keep them out of the hands of children younger than 7 years old.

"Soul"
This awesome hemp choker designed for the guys was hand-crafted with natural hemp cord in an interesting pattern. An oblong walnut stained wooden bead is at the center with small brown and tan resin tribal beads on either side of it. Outside of those beads are round plastic beads painted with swirls of browns and metallic gold. It has a plastic button clasp in shades of tan and brown to fit in nicely with the color scheme of this item. This great piece of hemp jewelry is 15 1/2" long and about 1/2" wide.

This bright and sunny macrame choker was knotted using yellow hemp cord in a lovely lacy pattern. The centerpiece of this item is a clear acrylic pendant with a real yellow flower encased within it. Three clear yellow, faceted, Czech glass beads surround the top of the pendant. The clasp for this piece is a decorative gold-tone button. This feminine hemp choker is 13 3/4" long and about 3/8" wide. The beautiful pendant is approx. 7/8" at its widest point and is 1 7/8" long

This unique spiral hemp choker was handmade with black hemp cord. In the center are four black and white glass marble beads. In the middle of these beads hangs an unusual pendant. It's a clear sparkling "gem" covered with black lace. An alligator clip help by a black wooden bead forms the clasp, making this piece adjustable. This somewhat gothic choker measures from 14 3/4" to 16 3/4" long and about 3/16" wide. The eerie pendant is 5/8" in diameter.

This elegant macrame choker was handcrafted using black hemp cord. The piece at the center is in a silver-tone filigree design and has a clear faceted acrylic pendant hanging below it. On either side of these pieces are alternating clear faceted acrylic beads and silver-tone rose shaped beads. This magnificent adjustable choker, with its alligator clip clasp, measures from 16" to 17 3/4" long and ranges from approx. 1/8" to 1/4" wide, depending on the knotting pattern used. This choker, inspired by Native American art of the southwester U.S., was hand-knotted in a tribal appearing pattern using natural color and black hemp cords. Silver beads featuring tribal designs are interspersed with deep blue stained wooden beads. Hanging below the smaller blue beads are silver tone metal feathers, and below the large blue bead is a silver tone metal kachina pendant. This beautiful piece of art measures 15 3/4" long and has a very cool silver metal button for the clasp. The "feathers" are nearly 1 1/4" long and the kachina is about 1" long.

This pretty and feminine choker was made using red hemp cord in a spiral pattern. It has round glass beads with swirls of red and gold metallic paints around them, golden rose beads, and large, clear, faceted, acrylic beads, with a golden goddess in the center. The clasp for this piece of jewelry is an alligator clip held in place by a honey colored wooden bead. This delightful macrame choker is adjustable from 14-16 inches long. The "goddess" in the center is about 11/16" across.

As the name implies, this macrame choker reflects a bit of a wild streak. It was created using very dark blue hemp cord. The large metallic pendant was enameled with leopard spots in two shades of blue on a white background. Numerous beads were included in the making of this piece, such as blue wooden beads, silver-tone beads, clear faceted acrylic beads, and blue crackled glass beads. The clasp is a decorative white plastic button shaped like a stylized flower. This awesome piece of hemp jewelry is 17 1/2" long and 1/4" wide. The "wild cat" pendant is 2 5/8" wide by 2 5/8" long.
